After the too-long Covid hiatus, this year the club is planning to have an actual “in the field” Field Day!
We are hoping that circumstances in June will allow it to happen, and if so, that you would be a part of
it. As June approaches, you’ll see information and plans on the club reflector, as well as a general Field
Day club meeting. So please consider it – it will be great to get back together.
Should you have some reluctance, the ARRL has updated the Field Day rules such that you can
actually participate in FD from home, or wherever you choose, and have your score credited to RDXA!
Your score would NOT be added to the W2RDX score, but when you submit your own score and indicate
RDXA (presented as “Rochester (NY) DX Assn”) as your club, it will be added, along with the separate
primary club score, as part of an overall club aggregate score. So there’s really two Field Day contests.
